Heading up North

Hello everyone, I know it’s been since Christmas that we posted anything about our adventures. We are on our last month here at Myrtle Beach. We have had a very enjoyable 5 months here at this RV Park and have spent time on the beach collecting many shells and few shark teeth. A week ago we enjoyed a visit to the Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. Here are some pictures.

Happy Birthday Jodi

Sea Horse          and           Sea Dragon

Jelly fish, very colorful ones..                Sting Rays

Sharks all around us..

Sea Turtle

We had a blast, plus it was Jodi’s birthday.  We finished the day at the Hard Rock Café where we know they can accommodate Jodi’s many dietary restrictions.  She was happy with her guaranteed no cross contaminated French fries!

We are now getting into some warmer weather and more beach time. We will have good tans heading back up North to NY.  April 1st we are going to Jordan Lake State Park for 2 weeks, then to Kerr Lake State Park, NC for 10 days, then head to a campground called Stoney Creek in mid Virginia for 7 days.  From there we are going to a State Park that we went to when we first started our travel in 2016, Gifford Pinchot State Park in Pennsylvania for 4 days, and then to another familiar park-Tobyhanna State Park Pennsylvania for 8 days. Then we arrive in up state NY for our 4 month camp hosting gig at Camp Elmbois about 5 miles from Hammondsport our home town. Wine country and Breweries all over. We take a short break from hosting to go to Hamlin Beach State Park for 4 days for the Vinette family picnic/reunion once again; we always look  forward to the great times we have with family.  After our hosting gig at Camp Elmbois, we are going to head west for a few more Camp Hosting Jobs we have lined up in New Mexico, (Pancho Villa State Park), Nevada (Spooner Lake) near Lake Tahoe and California.  We are looking forward to doing those hosting jobs. That is our tentative plan for the next year and beyond. When we travel to each one of our stops heading up to NY, we will post some great pictures like we always do.  Looking forward to moving on to other places and continue our adventure traveling all over the great USA…

Check us out after the 1st of April as we head up north…  Keep in touch and stay tuned for more of our travel updates and pictures…   Yours Truly,  Mark and Jodi,  The Bobble Head Travelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always love getting your updates! Have to admit I’m a little jealous. Glad you have enjoyed Myrtle so much. I really hope we get to see you while you are at Jordan Lake. If that doesn’t work out, maybe we can get up to New York some time in the summer. The hosting obs you have lined up sound great! How much free time does it give you when you sign up for that?
Hope we will be seeing you soon!

Hello Christine and Kip, Glad to hear from you two.. We have enjoyed Myrtle so so much, sad to go, but we have more fun and adventure to experience. We do hope to see you at Jordan Lake and we need to make that happen. Yes we do get time off when we camp host, we only have to work 20 to 25 hours a week, and get two days off per week, so we will have time to tour and play and drink… lol… See you guys soon..

We will be at Jordan for two weeks, Christine! We MUST make this happen. We didn’t see you the last time through (which was too short any way) It will be a long time before we are back through NC again.
