Update of us in New York

Hello everyone, I have just added a new menu bar above with My Best photos, please click on that and check them out. They are my best pictures of the past 18 months. I know its been a little while since I have posted here on our Bobble Head Travelers Blog…. Just want to say we have really enjoyed our stay up here on Keuka View Resort for the past 2 and half months, and we now have a month and half left before we head down to Myrtle Beach for the long winter. We did go to the Vinette Family reunion picnic at Hamlin beach State Park for 4 days and had a blast. They put on a great family gathering picnic every year and we want to thank them for the best times this year and also in the past years.

We then went to Letchworth State Park for 4 days after Hamlin and did a lot of hiking and sight seeing the falls. We even checked out the Genesee River Dam in Mt. Morris, NY. Just outside of Letchworth State Park. Such a beautiful place to visit and stay.

We are going to stop at a few places on the way down to Myrtle Beach. We plan on hitting Pennsylvania, New Jersey to see Jack and Barb, Jodi’s brother and sister-in law for a short visit. Then back to Pennsylvania for a quick tour of the oldest brewery in the U.S. Yuengling Brewery, since 1829. Then we will head to Virginia, North Carolina to visit some friends there. Then our winter stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park for 6 months… Fun Fun…

While here in Upstate NY, we have been going to some local breweries and wineries and going to the Music in the Park in Hammondsport, NY… A lot of small towns have music in the park once a week during the summer. Great music. Such fun while here in our home town that we grew up in. Good to come home and visit once in a while. Next year we will only be here at Keuka View Resort for a month. We plan on traveling up north to Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine then up to Canada. That will be the year that we will head west to California. More to post on that later on. Just so you all know what are plans are next year.

Once again when we head out to spend winter in Myrtle Beach, we have to take the 5TH Wheel in for repairs the day before we head south. We have had some small issues with the RV, but nothing big… You have to have your regular maintenance stuff done, but some stuff just stops working or breaks during all the traveling.

Till next Blog report, you all take care and keep following us and we will keep you all up to date with great pictures and places we visit, and maybe someday you all may visit some of the same places we have gone to.

    Hello Mark and Jodie
Looks like your summer was very enjoyable. I’ve already added a few “places we’d like to visit” to our Google map from your posts.

We’ve stayed the summer in the Colorado Rockies. We do enjoy this area a lot. Actually parked in a place we would love to make our own. In the Blue Mesa area. It’s at 9,100′ with lots of trees and while everything around us at lower elevations is mostly parched and browned it’s fresh and green up here.

Best wishes and hope your winter goes well. We’ll be back at GSP for the winter ourselves. We do enjoy that area.

    Take good care of yourselves.
    Jim and Sheryl

You could have a side job as a photographer! What beautiful places you have been! Hope to see you soon – either as you come through NC< or to meet up somewhere along your journey. We miss you and are living vicariously through you, so keep those photos coming!
