Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park Campground

Hello Friends and Family!!  We are enjoying our travels down south to end up in Alabama with our folks for Christmas and most of the Winter.. We are still going to stop in Florida to see Jodi’s family for Thanks Giving, I can not wait to finally meet them…Plus Jodi has not had a Thanks Giving with family in many many years, so now we both will give thanks…

Jodi and I have had a few days here in Georgia at the Gordonia Alatamaha State Park just west of Historic Savannah. We did some site seeing yesterday and took some picture.. We had a blast.. The only thing we both did not like about this place is, we are out in the middle of no where and we have to travel to the next town for a nice big store. Nice park but may not come here again.

Putting Georgia on our Travel Map, we now have 6 states and we have about 7 to 8 more to go before we end up in NY for next summer. We will have hit about 12 states…

They did say there were Alligators in this lake… Would your really use one of these boards while there are Alligators in the water….img_1922

Hi Jodi and Mark! Have fun visiting with both of your families. Bet time is flying for you. I don’t think I’d want to swim with the crocs.
