Some of the Trials and Tribulations we have had!!

First we want to say hello to all of our Family and Friends out there… We have been getting ready to go full time RVing for some time. You need to know if it is really for you. Living in a small 395 Square foot home, instead of the 1500 square foot home that you’re in now. Reducing lots of your stuff that you have in your home. We have no problem doing that. We are doing that now and will for the next 60 days. We will then move into our new home, The Gateway 3500RE. Click on Flickr down below to see the inside of our new home.
So we started looking at 5th wheels for about 9 months, and found one we wanted. We wanted to wait till we were ready to order the Gateway 3500RE. So we were looking at color scheme and what kind of extras we wanted. We were ready to order at the beginning of January and we were told by the dealer in Ohio that they discontinued the Gateway 3500RE and can not order you one.. We about dropped to the ground and started to cry… We planned on this floor plan to be our dream home, and we stopped looking 9 months ago.. So Jodi and I panicked and we both started to look online for places that may have this Gateway in stock and if we could not find one we would have to start all over again and look for something we could find that would be comparable to the 3500RE… Jodi found a place in VA that was a lot closer then Ohio and they said that they may be able to pull some strings and get one built for us… Short story, they said they can fit one in, and only one for us. It would be a special order, and yes they do not make then any more. They will insert one on the 15th of March 2016. We then will go pick it up and bring it to Mebane, NC. There is an RV park that we have a reservation for the on the 1st of April. That is when we plan on moving into our new home for good. Plus VA is much closer then Ohio… So now it is just a waiting game till we get it built and move in.. We have the truck now to pull it so we are waiting for the other half of our home. We are calling our new home FREEDOM and the truck in called the FREEDOM HAULER…..
