Jordan Lake Once again….

Hello everyone!! Happy Trails to you and I know some of you are wishing this snow would END!! We hope so too, because we are heading up to NY in a few weeks..

We are at Jordan Lake State Park for the next week!! Some Pics of us enjoying the space we didn’t have at Myrtle Beach.

We visited the Fearrington Farms, a neat place near Pittsboro, NC. This is where they have the belted Cow, Goats. A white stripe down the center of the cows and goats. They have shops, a pub, coffee eatery, bookstore and restaurant all on the Farm.  They also do wedding events, a very pretty area.

After our visit here at Jordan Lake State Park we will head up to Kerr Lake State Park, outside of Henderson, NC.. We have not been there before but it looks like it will be a great spot for us for 10 days. When we get settled in to our spot on the Lake, we will post some pics…. When we leave here, we head to Virginia for about 7 days at a family campground called Stoney Creek Resort Campgrounds. Up in the northern mountains of Virginia. The Shenandoah National Park area.

We then head to Pennsylvania for a visit to two State parks we have been to before.. Gifford Pinchot State Park, and Tobyhanna State Park. Very nice State Parks. We saw a Momma Bear and her two cubs at Tobyhanna State Park last year.

We are planning on getting to NY for a Camp Hosting job at Camp Elmbois the middle of May. We do hope all the snow will be long gone and no more for the spring. Camp Elmbois is up off of one of the Finger Lakes.  Keuka Lake, the west side of the lake. Between Hammondsport and Pulteney. For those who do not know where Keuka lake is and Camp Elmbois. Map below….Keuka State Park is also a nice place to go, up at the top of the lake.

After hosting Elmbois for the summer, we plan to head out west to New Mexico for our winter Hosting job. Hosting jobs are out there and we have a few more planned as we head farther west. After New Mexico, we then go to a hosting job in Nevada for a few months, then California hosting job for summer. We just can’t stop and won’t for a long long time.

We will post some pictures at Kerr State Park when we get there next week, so stay tuned and see what’s new with us..  Hope all is well with everyone out there looking in…

Heading up North

Hello everyone, I know it’s been since Christmas that we posted anything about our adventures. We are on our last month here at Myrtle Beach. We have had a very enjoyable 5 months here at this RV Park and have spent time on the beach collecting many shells and few shark teeth. A week ago we enjoyed a visit to the Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. Here are some pictures.

Happy Birthday Jodi

Sea Horse          and           Sea Dragon

Jelly fish, very colorful ones..                Sting Rays

Sharks all around us..

Sea Turtle

We had a blast, plus it was Jodi’s birthday.  We finished the day at the Hard Rock Café where we know they can accommodate Jodi’s many dietary restrictions.  She was happy with her guaranteed no cross contaminated French fries!

We are now getting into some warmer weather and more beach time. We will have good tans heading back up North to NY.  April 1st we are going to Jordan Lake State Park for 2 weeks, then to Kerr Lake State Park, NC for 10 days, then head to a campground called Stoney Creek in mid Virginia for 7 days.  From there we are going to a State Park that we went to when we first started our travel in 2016, Gifford Pinchot State Park in Pennsylvania for 4 days, and then to another familiar park-Tobyhanna State Park Pennsylvania for 8 days. Then we arrive in up state NY for our 4 month camp hosting gig at Camp Elmbois about 5 miles from Hammondsport our home town. Wine country and Breweries all over. We take a short break from hosting to go to Hamlin Beach State Park for 4 days for the Vinette family picnic/reunion once again; we always look  forward to the great times we have with family.  After our hosting gig at Camp Elmbois, we are going to head west for a few more Camp Hosting Jobs we have lined up in New Mexico, (Pancho Villa State Park), Nevada (Spooner Lake) near Lake Tahoe and California.  We are looking forward to doing those hosting jobs. That is our tentative plan for the next year and beyond. When we travel to each one of our stops heading up to NY, we will post some great pictures like we always do.  Looking forward to moving on to other places and continue our adventure traveling all over the great USA…

Check us out after the 1st of April as we head up north…  Keep in touch and stay tuned for more of our travel updates and pictures…   Yours Truly,  Mark and Jodi,  The Bobble Head Travelers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
