On to Arizona, California and Nevada…

Hello Everyone, I am sending you this quick update to let you know that we have left Pancho Villa State Park, NM where we have been volunteering for 5 months. We had a great time and a good warm winter stay. Just a week before we left NM, We stopped at a nice day use park called Spring Canyon just outside of Rockhound State Park, NM. We have been wanting to go there for a day of hiking, but waited till the last minute to go. It is a beautiful place to go for a lunch and hike. Glad we did, here are a few pictures..

We are heading to our next three and a half month Volunteer location, Spooner Lake, NV. Just outside of Lake Tahoe.

We are going to take a month vacation before heading to Spooner Lake because it’s still a little too cold and may still have snow. We are here at Picacho Peak State Park, AZ. Located in between Tucson and Phoenix, AZ. This is nice place to do some hiking and site seeing. We had a 76 degree beautiful day for Jodi’s Birthday and hiked 4 miles near the Peak.. Here are a few pictures.

We have 5 more stops before we arrive at Spooner Lake. Will update at each place when I can. Depending on how WiFi is in each location. These are our stops: Alamo Lake, AZ / Lake Havasu, CA / Las Vegas, NV / Goldfield, NV / Hawthorne, NV, then our host Job site @ Spooner Lake, NV

We are very excited now to head further West and get to places we have never been to. The Bobble Head Travelers are set out to see more of this great U.S. of A….

I also wanted to post a picture I have created of the Blood Wolf Moon we had this January 2019. I was outside here in NM at Poncho Villa State Park with my camera set on a tri pod since 8:30pm and took many pictures of the eclipse till 12am to get all of the good moon shots then put them in order around the Blood Moon Picture. Hope you like, it’s one of my favorites…

Hello everyone, we have about 40 days left here in New Mexico. We have been having a great time here at Pancho Villa State Park. We feel its time to move on and see new and exciting places. We are going to spend the month of March in Arizona before heading to our hosting job at Spooner Lake, NV…

What I wanted to do for everyone is to post a photo Album for everyone to see of our favorite photos that I/we have taken since we have been traveling. We are now shy one month of 3 years of traveling. Click on the photos and you will see them with a description of what and where the photo was taken. Hope all is well and that you are staying safe with all the bad weather you are all being subjected to. Its getting real bad all over the United states. We have been dealing with real bad winds here in the desert. 40 and 50 MPH Gusts.. Does beat us up a little… But we will survive..
